This brings back a lot of memories and makes me want to plan another trip to New Mexico ASAP. It is truly deserving of its name, an enchanting land in so many ways. We like to visit a different hot springs, Ojo Caliente. It’s near Taos and has really excellent restaurant that serves a lot of regional dishes often made with herbs and vegetables from a garden right on the property. Thanks for sharing the post!

That holiday sounded absolutely amazing, Marco. Especially struck by the gorgeous spa and the kindness of strangers.

Oooh I do like the sound of this spa experience… perhaps without the thunderstorm! “Bathing suits required after 8.15pm” had me giggling 😂😂

I went to ‘Ten Thousand Waves’ years ago and took my mom there - loved it so much, have some of the best memories of my New Mexico trip! 🧡

Haha! Christmas would be wonderful there (imagine soaking in a hot tub at Ten Thousand Waves after a hard day's skiing), but it's beautiful all year round.

Lovely to hear! We’d been to a few onsen in Japan before this visit and loved the relaxed New Mexico vibe.

Sounds wonderful! A part of the country I've always wanted to see.

A few years ago, I attempted to convince my extended family to visit for Christmas. I even used the slogan "Spend Santa Day in Santa Fe".

I thought that was pretty catchy, but I was outvoted. However, one of my Nephews now lives nearby in Colorado, so maybe I'll try again 😄
