I LOVE Chicago. Been there in all different times of year. Believe or not, my best memory so far is late January when the temperature was in the teens. I walked from Greek Town after decadent Greek dinner (I'm sure Moussaka was part of dinner!) back to our friends place by China Town along Michigan Avenue. That was so exhilarating!
Another excellent read. Marco has the rare ability to bring a city vividly to life in a few hundred words. And I've immediately listened to the iconic Summer In The City, such a superb song. Keep them coming, Marco!
Me too! Most of my trips have been in the snow and ice and Greektown Moussakas really come into their own in the cold (a lot more than 100 degrees- not quite sure what we were thinking)!
'Hot town, summer in the city'

I’ll take hot summer over near-unbearable winter any time —- the same goes for Moussaka, any time, anywhere. 😉
A pale imitation compared to the Loving Spoonful classic

Thanks for the vegetarian version, greatly appreciated!
I have always started travels in the US from the East Coast or the West Coast hubs and explore outwards. This has inspired me to go to the Windy City.

Great! Pick your time of year, Robert!
